Founder & Managing Partner

Scott Johnson’s recruiting career began in 2002 and quickly evolved into a passion for building high-performing talent acquisition functions. He has led talent teams at multiple organizations, including a Fortune 50 global logistics leader. Known as an innovator, Scott develops forward-looking hiring strategies that help fast-growing companies attract exceptional talent, scale effectively, and gain a competitive edge.

While partnering with executive search firms to fill critical leadership roles, Scott repeatedly observed a gap: many firms delivered inconsistent service and failed to function as true extensions of their clients’ internal teams. Too often, they focused narrowly on technical skills while overlooking cultural fit and long-term alignment. This experience became the catalyst for founding Red Wolf Partners. Scott created the firm to bring the value of an insider’s perspective—combining the rigor of corporate talent acquisition with the personalized service of a boutique search partner.

A standout achievement in Scott’s career was designing and scaling a comprehensive Veteran Hiring Program across the FedEx enterprise. The program delivered measurable improvements to the company’s ability to attract, hire, and retain transitioning military talent, strengthening both the organization and the veteran community it served.

Scott’s foundation in leadership was forged during 23 years of military service. Certified by the University of Pennsylvania as a Master Resiliency Program Trainer, he taught cognitive, emotional, and character strengths through curricula such as “Real-time Resiliency” and other mental toughness training. These skills proved invaluable in his role as a Liaison to the U.S. Army Training Center, where he supported military leaders in recruiting and retaining new soldiers.
